On behalf of the Bright Futures for Kids Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Chico Parade of Lights, I want to warmly welcome you to our community’s beloved parade.

For over three decades, the Chico Parade of Lights has been more than just an event—it’s a joyful tradition that brings our entire community together. On this special night, downtown Chico lights up with hundreds of thousands of sparkling lights, creative floats, lively performances, and smiling faces. 

It is a time when neighbors, families, and friends from every background come together to celebrate what makes Chico such a vibrant and wonderful  community.

Chico Parade of Lights is about more than lights, it’s about honoring each other, embracing our diversity, and recognizing that when we gather together, Chico shines its brightest. No matter your culture, ethnicity, background, or beliefs, this event is for you.

Members of the Board of Directors and I are incredibly excited to continue leading this cherished tradition. 

It is both an honor and a privilege to give our city a magical evening that uplifts, inspires, and reminds us of the beauty of being part of a strong and caring community.

We invite you to be part of the celebration in whatever way feels right for you:

Bring an entry or float and share your creativity. Volunteer your time at the parade to help make the night safe and possible. Or simply come downtown, join the crowds, and enjoy the experience of thousands of lights and the warmth of community spirit.

No matter how you participate, you are part of what makes the Chico Parade of Lights so special. Thank you for helping us continue this legacy of joy, unity, and celebration.
